I wanted to see if anyone has threaded a Socom II for a can and who did you get to do the work? Thanks for any replys

you basically have to buy a whole new end for the rifle since the front sight and muzzle break are a single unit.  however, the parts are now available.
look around in the m14 sub forum and you should be able to find the info on it.

Works great if you have a suppressor with 9/16-24 thread in .30 cal.


A 5/8 option might not be a bad idea......

Thanks, I also want to send off my Rem 700 to get the barrel threaded for a can too, but now just hoping things will pick up money wise.
 
That pic for the Socom brake looks easy to change. Just wish they had not do it like that. Thanks again
