Just me, all things considered, I would either pick them up at the funshows where I can see them or...

Pay DSA .50 more.

Peace of mind is priceless.

I agree with CavVet on steel FAL mags.

Sarco has aluminum FAL mags for $6.95. I must have bought close to 100 of them. Some were brand new. All were at least very good. No dents or other damage other than some anodizing missing.

I got 12 from Tapco... as much as I hate their AK crap... the mags were all in ok condition and functioned.

Picked up 10 from Tapco.

8 fit. Haven't checked for function yet but they seem OK.

Covered in some kind of weird dirt shit that leaves your hands the cover of cosmoline.

I've bought some mags from DSA for 5.00 USD. They should have been "used in good condition" but the were like new!

Go with DSA.   Their mags are always nice.   I just got 6 more in on Friday.   Last bunch I got from them had about 40% new springs.

I got 8 from Wideners a while back and they were a bust.   One had a floor plate insert missing.   Some were spray painted and are tight in the magwell.   Will make range mags out of most of them.
