Hey guys, I am looking for a 22lr bolt action host for my Spectre. Can anyone recommend anything suppressor ready or will i have to get it threaded? I would like iron sites but if no options exist that is fine. Looking to use this for rabbits and squirrels after deer season since my buddy turned me on to the good eating.

Love my Ruger American Rimfire. Standard or Compact works fine.

from the looks of it you had to have that one threaded correct?

The Ruger and Savage are the most common:

Ruger American Rimfire Standard (Threaded)

Ruger American Rimfire Compact (Threaded)

Savage Mk II FV-SR

CZ also makes a suppressor ready 455:

CZ 455 American Synthetic Suppressor-Ready

Any one of the three would serve you well but I believe only the Ruger is available with iron sights.

No, they sell a threaded version with the proper .400" threads. Models 8305 and 8306 for 22LR.

I really like my PWS Summit T3.  It has a carbon fiber barrel that is threaded

Yup! My spectre 2 on my RAR with cci quiets is AWESOME!!!! All you hear is click, whizz, then the ding on the steel. You can't go wrong with a rar.

Awesome I was looking at the Savage FV-SR but hated there was no irons but the RAR's you all just introduced fits the bill. Will I need the rifle spacer for the Spectre to mount up or can I just screw it right on?

If the threads are 0.4", you are good to go.

If the threads are longer, you can get an appropriate length spacer  to bring the exposed thread to 0.4" or use Silencerco's 1/2x28 to 1/2x28 with o-ring engagement adapter.

I wish that Ruger would make the American in a LH model. Until they do I will just continue to shoot my LH MKII.
Pretty much any of the ones mentioned above will work well with your Spectre II.

I've been looking at these. Wish I could find a barreled action.

The CZ455 is a wonderfully smooth and accurate rifle. It is my dedicated trainer/suppressor host/squirrel rifle. You have to try really hard to miss with it.

Not 100% relevant since it wasn't pre-threaded but I enjoy my savage mkII

This.

But sounds like you want to shoot iron sights. Have mine set up with a sparrow and just put a photon xt on it.  Sweet setup  , super accurate.

So you can see in my pics, my savage came with irons and a 21" barrel.
I had it cut to 18" and threaded which killed the front sight so savage is an option.

I did want irons so I am ready out the gate but I am liking the FV-SR more and more. Seems like there are a good amount of legit rimfire pieces of glass for under $200.

Ruger American Rimfire Predator (Model 8334).  It is ridiculously quiet.

Vortex Diamondback 1.75--5x32 BDC. It was ok, but the parallax annoyed me.

I forgot to say earlier that my favorite part about the RAR is that it takes 10/22 mags, which makes it compatible with the Ruger 10/22, which is the AR-15 of .22s in terms of aftermarket parts and modularity.
