I have a Spectre II that has the 1/2x28 to 1/2x28 Adapter seized into the end cap.  I have only shot 50rds through it since the last cleaning. I've already hit it with some oil and tried a strap wrench and pliers with rubber covers and it will not budge. Any suggestions?

Safest thing to do is send it back to Silencerco for repair.

I would try shooting it and heating it back up and try to remove it while its hot

Bake it at 200 for a little bit then try to remove. Use anti seize or a product like eds red on the thread.

Can you get the endcap off the tube? If so, look at the adapter - does it come up nice and flush with the endcap? Is the o-ring in place or mangled/bound up?

If you're feeling bold, gently clamp the endcap in a padded vice on the fin area, not the threads, and then use the wrench flats on the 1/2x28 adapter to try to spin the adapter off. Might work better with some heat.

Otherwise call Silencerco and they will take care of it for you.

I had this happen several times and the oven trick worked once when nothing else did. I've got a Crescent Wrench that I'm going to dremmel so it will fit the cutouts at the back of the end cap.  That way, I can just put it over the end and tighten the crescent wrench so it has something to bite into.  Haven't had to do it since, though, because I'm using lithium anti-seize.
