Hi I am getting ready to load up my first 50BMG handloads.  I have some 750gr A-Max's and I have a Hornady manual.  My manual lists a low of 185.5gr of H50BMG and a max load of 214.9gr of H50BMG.  However, Hodgdon's reloading data center site lists a max load as 233gr of H50BMG.  Why such a difference?  I also have a bunch of south african 690gr ball.  Since my manual only lists data for A-Max's and the hodgdon site only lists max loads (and only for 655gr and 750gr projectiles, nothing in between), I don't really know where to find a reasonable starting load.  Since the south african ball stuff is so common, I was hoping someone here would have a good place to start?  The rifle is a Bohica MkIII with a 30" barrel.  Thanks for any help!

You can use 215 grs. for both rounds and be fine, most guys use a load anywhere between 215-220 grs. and get good results.
