I remember your post, glad you found our responses helpful. That's a great looking bench. I really like that you took the time to stain and finish it. Some nice craftsmanship there. Normally presses are bolted to a bench and fender washers used under the bolt heads and nuts. Lag bolts will be ok for a while, if they start to loosen, then you will know that you have to upgrade. Dryflash I think I worded it wrong on the construction I used lagbolts to hold the legs to the top and bottom, the presses are threaded with machine screws sitting on washers into 1/4 x 20mm anchors in the top......they don't move at all |
