Ok so here is my situation.
recently bought a Stag Model 1. http://www.stagarms.com/product_info.php?cPath=13_22&products_id=205 Found out it cost a ton to buy factory ammo. Now I have access to a reloading press and someone who has all the tools needed and some know how, but I need some load info and advice. Main concern is powder and of course bullets. Now at this time I am just burning powder so don't need any match grade set ups, just going cheap reloads. What can you recommend using these 55grain fmj and what type of powder? http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat602007-cat20728-cat20843&id=0012707213383a&navCount=50&podId=0012707&parentId=cat20843&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20843&hasJS=true http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pod/standard-pod-wrapped.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/pod-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat602007-cat20728-cat20843&rid=&indexId=cat20843&navAction=push&masterpathid=&navCount=55&parentType=index&parentId=cat20843&id=0003177 If you can provide cheaper links hook it up. |

Read the info at the top of the page. These questions are asked over and over.
A reloading manual, that your friend should have, will have loading data. Look up 223, 55 gr bullets, and go from there. To post hot links, second button from the right, Insert Tags line, the paper clip on the globe icon. Welcome to Arfcom. Here's a link to one of my favorite sites, Wideners, problem is they like everyone else, is out of everything. Check the links for more sites. |
| powder valley this is also a good source for powder ,primers, and bullets but like everything else they are usually on back order so be patient |
