Hello all,
I'm currently stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville NC but my home is in Macungie PA. I'm interesting in buying a Gem-Tech Sandstorm suppressor during their Gemtax sale this year. Do I have to take leave sometime when they run the sale(April 15th-30th) to come home to make the purchase and go through the legalities of purchasing a suppressor? Or can I buy it here in NC then take it home with me the next time I get to go back to PA? Is there some kind of state transfer paper work I could do or am I stuck having to take leave to go home to make the purchase? It would be a lot easier if I didn't have to take leave and go back to PA for this. Thanks in advance, Drew |

I believe if you have lived in NC for 6 months are more you can claim NC as your state of residence.Might go to the NC hometown forum and see.If you get out and move back to PA just contact ATF about the move.
I was military for 20 years and had a FFL in NM and claimed NM as my residence, moved to Texas after retiring.
