I picked up an old Stevens 520. I made sure Numrich had a lot of parts before I did as I expected some issues. I have two. One is the lifter moves around a lot, I have a pawl and pawl spring coming for that which should fix it.
The other one is the gun locks and unlocks the slide at will. I disassembled it and it looks like I am missing one or possibly two lock springs and the Slide Lock itself is missing a piece that captures a spring. I have replacement parts coming. I cannot find any good pictures on the web. From what I can gather, one spring goes around the pin that holds the hammer and the slide lock in the trigger assembly? Is there another spring the goes on the bottom of the slide lock?

Looks like you have the same model this guy did.

One of my 620's had a loose lifter and it looked like this. Top one is the bad one.
