Is there a reason the Streamlight #69906 Remington 870 Adapter Mount for Tactical Weapon Lights will not work with a Mossberg or a Winchester? I thought the mag tube was all the same diameter? Thank you.

Depends on the shotgun. It will work on the 590, 930, 835 and similar. It will work on the 500s with the barrel lug like the 590.
It needs a mag tube cap/extension similar to the 870, so if you've got one like that it should work. ETA: I think the mag tube bodies are about 1mm off. That said, I've used 870 accessories on a 590 and 930 mag tube without problem. There have been people that have used that adapter on some 500s and 590s. |
