how well do stripper clips work in m14s/ m1a's. do any of yall use them instead of switching magazines? just curious.

I use 'em to load mags and they work fine. I tried out the clips on the stripper clip guide just for kicks. It seems to work well filling the mag while it's in the rifle. Since I have several mags, I usually just pre-load and swap them out.

Yes, I use them for loading mags in and out of the rifle. They are also good for keeping the bolt from slamming shut while cleaning.
