Is there an easy way to empty this thing? On my cheapo lee measure I cut spin the resevoir to cut off the exit hole and then dump it into the jug.

Is opening up the dial all the way and dumping 30+ things the only option? I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything before I waste my time.

I don't have one of those, but my RCBS Uni-Flows are mounted with studs sticking up from the bench, and wing nuts with washers on the base of the PM.  I simply unbolt it and then dump after each loading session.  I'm having a hard time describing that, but it's really simple, and I can snap a quick pic if you wish.

I have a Hornady LNL bushing on mine. Quarter turn and it's off it's bracket/stand.

Without the LNL bushing, unscrew the mounting nut and dump the powder out of the hopper.

When you have a charge set, write down the number from the micrometer adjustment for future reference.

Darn.......I'm too lazy to keep unscrewing it, so I will just dump it by dumping several loads.

Well I'm playing around with XBR 8208. I just measured 10 in a row and the two lines that line up on my RCBS 505 scale were touching on each one. This thing is freaking awesome! 3BR universal match that is!

ETA:  I'm so used to my Lee releasing powder on the downswing that I got a nice surprise when i lifted the handle and spread a charge of powder all over the floor

If your lazy, go with the LNL bushing.

The female bushing will screw into a block of wood with a slightly smaller hole than threads.

Clamp on Vicegrips and turn bushing in.

Male will screw right on to PM threads.

Jeez, it takes me about 2-3 seconds to unscrew the retaining ring, its fast and easy.

I actually have to screw the entire powder measure. Its such a tight fit into the mounting bracket thing that I cannot just pull it through. I think I will sand it down eventually
