Looking for a .308 bolt rifle that is reasonably accurate and takes AICS or Pmags.

I am just starting to reload and figure it will be be easier to work up loads in a bolt gun for .308 compared to PSA-10s.
.
I would like to keep under a grand but have some room.

The CVA  Cascades, Ruger American and Weatherby Camillia have caught my eye but fall short because of their mags.

So i guess my ideal would be a wood stock, accurate rifle that takes Pmags or AICS.

I have Gen 1 Ruger Predator in Grendel that I like and can pick up the .308 version for under six hundred.

Savage 110 tactical.
Comes with the accu fit stock, scope rail, threaded barrel and AICS style mags.
I have two of them and love them.

Another vote for the Begara. Didn't have one yet, but it's on the short list.

Ruger American Predator in the Magpul stock will do you just fine. My 6.5 is reliably sub-MoA.

Howa 1500.  Order a barreled action ($450-500) plus an MDT field stock chassis ($300) from Brownells.  Add a detachable magazine drop-in kit and a scope rail.

+1

i bought a used Howa 1500 locally and a used XLR chassis from the EE here, in for a total of $850. Added a one-piece rail and a relatively cheap Vortex, still into the entire package for @$1300 (not including the Atlas).

For the money, I'm completely happy with the results...
