I've got an m11/9 inbound and would like to obtain a dedicated can for it. I have options that would work, but I like getting dedicated cans because...well...more cans....
Anyone have experience with the Bowers line up vs. the Thompson machine offering? Anything else I should consider? Regarding the Bowers cans, should I go vers9 or the "s" version? Is there a significant difference in dB reduction between the two? How does the vers45 sound on a 9mm? |

I run CAC9s with the multimount upgrade on my M10s and Uzis. Can't compare them personally to the other brand, but I've been happy with them and they work well for me. Vers is the newer version of the CAC, correct? What did they change exactly? Baffle design? |

Nobody responded in that other thread where I mentioned the SG-2, huh?
I missed a sub $150 CAC9 and wasn't at all excited about $200+ for a 3 lug adaptor for my Ti-rant and Brooks cut me a deal on a blem SG-2 (my third TM can). I too would like some feedback especially about the SG-2 compared to other subgun cans like the MK9K and the new Omega 9k |

SS has a vers9 and vers9s in stock right now, but I'm also tempted by that SG-2 deal that you found (if he still has any blems left.) The Omega 9k would be cool, but those high volume cans should be much more quiet. |

i just bought a vers9 middle of last year. Its very quite on my M11 but its quite long especially if you plan to use a max31 upper. if i had it to do over i think id buy a vers9s Thanks for your input. If I go with Bowers, I'm leaning toward the 9s at this point. |

I'm hoping to gather a bit more info on the TM vs. 9s. Price is certainly appealing on the SG-2 but does that include a thread adapter or anything? |

SS has incorrect info listed. I am pretty sure the $349 SG-2 has no adaptor and cannot be mounted without one. I plan on using a Gemtech 3 lug |

I've got some family land a few minutes from town so I guess that's where I'll go when mine is approved (which will be awhile.) |

ETA: I'm pretty sure the SG-2 is 12" too fwiw The old SG was 12" and 2" in diameter. The new SG-2 is a bit over 9" and about 1.65" in diameter. I just bought my second one. I've used it on my Uzi Mod. A, TP-9, MP5 and an AR-9. It can use all Gemtech mounts, including the tri-lug and Uzi. I very much like it. Sound quality is great - it has a nice, deep tone with subsonic 9mm. |
