At the moment I am searching the internet on what all I need to do to send in my paperwork for my suppressor I just put on layaway today at my LGS my father also purchased one too. (we are on a trust together)
I filled out the forms and they gave me copies and told me to send them off to the BATFE but no specific instructions. I have 2 form 4's for each suppressor and a receipt stating what I have on layaway. What do I need to do now? Can I send them in the same envelope? Thanks for the help! (all I'm really seeing is how to fill the forms out) |

My dealer did most of the leg work for me when I bought a couple of them local. I believe they'll need two copies of the form 4 printed double sided, a copy of your trust, and either fill out the credit card info for paying for the stamp on your form 4 or send a check for $200 for the stamp. My dealer filled out all of their info and the information about the silencer on the form 4, and I did the rest. I brought the forms, trust and check back to my dealer who mailed it all off. |
