I just picked up my GSG-5 a couple days ago and am very happy with. Anyway, today I got some Remington subsonic rounds in case I need to shoot any critters around the house. They allow the weapon to cycle normally, but are louder than I would like them to be. I went to plink at my friends house today and tried some of his Aguilla subsonic rounds that he uses in his lever action. They were much quieter, but would not cycle. I was just wondering if anyone else had tried using subsonic rounds and if you've found some that are quiet and reliable.

I've used CCI Standard Velocity (subsonic at 1070 fps muzzle velocity) without any problems cycling the bolt.

Went shooting yesterday and mostly shot CCI mini mags which worked great and didnt have any problems. Also put 50 rounds of CCI subsonic through it and didnt have any feeding problems at all they worked flawlessly. They were a lot quieter than the mini mags, but we had ear plugs in so i cant say how loud they would be without any ear protection.
