I recently picked up some Acme cast lead 115 grain bullets And today for my reloading session I made three batches To test And found out that 4.0 grains of rimshot zip works great with these bullets I would definitely Recommend them. Here's some pictures of the aftermath http://flic.kr/p/HiLADm http://flic.kr/p/HHTnZF I tried to fix your picture links but I couldn't get them to work. Got the Flickr to work! Click on the share "arrow", then click the "embed" option, hunt out the actual picture hyperlink, cut and paste

I think I got it now guys.. I made a photo bucket account 9mm 115 grain round nose http://i1180.photobucket.com/albums/x412/jesusrios916/IMG_1456%202_zpsudn2nyva.jpg I'm confused about your load. You said you picked up some cast lead bullets, but show plated or FMJ loaded bullets. Are those target shots with the lead cast bullets? The COAL on those plated or FMJ loads look awfully long. What are the ones you loaded and shot? |

so -flashbang1
sorry for the confusion, My normal load is the copper plated round nose bullets. I had loaded the cast bullets the same loading session so I figured Id made a pretty picture with them lol I had success with both rounds, but the new bullets that I had success with are the cast bullets I made three batches, started with the start grains then worked up. (Richard lee second edition) and as far as the copper plated bullets, I agree that they look long but my OAL were 1155 they fired great, I normally keep my OAL below 1155. I did have maybe four rounds that did not eject properly, but out of 150 rounds I think it was ok. |

Quoted: Nice job OP. BTW-I think you pics were not showing initially because at that time you were less than 50 posts. Seeing as you are now over 50, you shouldn't have any further issues. Again Good job! That wasn't it, I can see pics on post 1 if they are embedded correctly. OP got it fixed. |
