I've been puzzling like crazy trying to figure out how to build a storage stand for my Hornady LnL Powder Measure with its case activated drop components installed.  The best I've come up with is a yoke to support the measure between the hopper and the rotor, but I'm not sure whether it will need a very broad base, whether I should bolt it to other structures for support, etc.  Basically I'm at a wall on designing this.

What sort of off line stand or rack have folks made to keep their measures clean and safe when off the press?  Thanks in advance!

They have some nice brackets for storing components with the lnl bushings.

Not sure if this would work for you, but it's how I store my extra PM's.

Just a 2x2 screwed to a 2x4 with holes in the 2x2 for powder measure to sit in.

I bought one of the conversion LnL bushings and drilled a hole in the top of the bench. I screwed the conversion bushing into the bench and set the PM in it just like I would the top of the press. Case activated parts and all.

This bushing.

It looks like, whatever else I do, I'll have to disconnect the case activated drop parts anyway.  It isn't that much of a hassle, it's just another step in putting stuff away.  I like Inline Fabrications's stuff - I just got an Ultramount with their quick change mount hardware for my Lock n Load AP and my RockChucker - but I'm building wooden bench storage already so I want to stick with that.  Which sort of points me toward Dryflash's method.  With the long drop tube and all the levers removed, the 2x2 on 2x4 will work great for me.  I'll just need to make an additional spot for the case activated drop parts to stand in.
