Went for visitation of my AAC Tirant 45 today, this being my first visit.  And I found I have a problem.

My face hurts from the smile from firing it , and my wallet felt lighter from the future purchase of another even though this did not happen today.

Does anyone have a solution for this.

I'm open to suggestions for my next, I'm leaning between a can for a 22 or a 338 llupa.

Get a 22 supressor. I promise you will use it the most.

22 can, absolutely.

I have a YHM Phantom, a Gemtech Multimount and a Gemtech Alpine... I shoot the Alpine the most by far.

Talk to wife before purchase?

I'm looking at the Saker for my next can... Although I'd prefer a .308 first.

Get a 22 can next, for sure.  Here's why...

Agreed, get a rimfire can. In bought my 5.56 can & rimfire can together as my first purchase and I have no regrets. I've since ordered another rimfire can, and a 7.62 can. Last on my list is a 9mm or 45acp pistol can. Maybe both.

Guess I'm going to go with the 22 first. If I can wait til the first of the year I might just have to go for the double.

One wait = Two cans

I don't know if it could get much better than that.

Those Turkeys or chickens in the background walking away when the video started were really distracting!  I kept looking around behind you for them to reappear!

Sorry for the derail! That was great video!

Chickens.  You can see them in several of my vids.  If you've ever tried to herd chickens, you'd know why I just give up and let them wander when I make my vids.

Where you able to find a Ruger 22 with a barrel already threaded or did you have to have it threaded ?

Yup.  22lr next.  It will be what you shoot 75% of the time I would guess.

The rifle in that vid is the Savage FVSR, which comes with a factory-threaded barrel.  I also have a Ruger 22/45 pistol which is use in several vids, and they come with a factory-threaded barrel.  Both had good thread jobs that were concentric to the bore.

22s are dirty. Your TiRant is going to weigh like a brick. I recommend using the dip on your TiRant.

Yet another vote for a 22 can. I like Huntertown Arms Guardian for the performance and money.

I use a soda blaster.  Cleans up great!  I clean it out once a year.  It's really quiet on my 22, enough so that I won't bother with a dedicated 22 can.

I tested it back to back against my dads 22 sparrow, and the only difference between the two was that the Tirant didn't have a first round pop.
