just got my first light of this type yesterday.Man i love this unit! thought my better half was gonna freak out;she could not understand 36.00 bucks for a "flashlight".then i educatwed her that it is NOT just a flashlight!

I have a tan G2 I picked up at the EE. I love it, the best light for the money!!!!!!!

The G2 is an excellent little light; Own one in OD (matches my Blade-Tech Kydex Holster

) and I keep it in the nightstand next to my 1911.

If you don't mind the shorter run time you can put a P61 lamp in it like I did and get 120 lumens out of it. The G2 was my first light which corrupted me as I now have the G2, E1, E2D, X200B, and Scout Light with MU60 (120 lumen) Bezel & Tape Switch.

i need to get an offset mount . can you mount a preesure switch to the G2? you know onthe vert grip?

Check brightflashlights in the industry forum.

I've mounted mine in my AR with a viking tactics offset mount and without the shock bezel. Worked great.

Yeah. That's an option. Some prefer the push button tail cap, but others like the pressure pad.

I have the OD G2 and a Z3 Combat light. Funny how a getting a good flash light makes one forget I have more than a few Mag Lites somewhere.

Just stock up on batteries when you can find them on sale.

I dropped mine out of a second story window onto concrete. Only thing that busted was the bulb and my ego(happend infront of a squad of ballbreakers
