I have a Surefire FA556SA suppressor. I currently have a flash hider/compensator mount designed for the SA that will fire the SIMON grenade when attached. I would like to use the MB556K muzzle brake mount instead. The FA556SA is not listed in the compatibility chart; however, in the description of the suppressor on surefire's website it says the FA556SA is

"FA556SA
Identical to our FA556-212 sound suppressor except FA556SA adapters are compatible with M100 GREM or SIMON rifle grenades when the suppressor is removed."

So, if it is identical, would it not mount to the same mounts designed for the FA556-212?

I have contacted SF's technical customer service line. The tech was not sure of the answer and is going to research it.

Does anyone here know if this will work?

The FA556SA is only compatible with the FH556SA or the FH556SA80SA. It was designed for demands in the UK and a muzzle brake was never released. It is not identical to the FA556-212. It has a smaller lock ring and back section diameter for clearance to the SA80. It is identical in weight, length and construction.
