Does anyone know how much a Surefire MB556k muzzle brake adds to the overall length of a barrel? Surefire website indicates MB556k is 2.49" in length but no mention of how much it adds to barrel.

Pretty sure mine doesn't overlap at all, if it does its very little

The threads are approximately .6", so about 1.8 to 1.9 inches added.

Sorry, thats what I was ultimately getting at, since it doesn't overlap the length stated is what is added to the length, except for the threads.
