I just bought a brand new Surefire Micro and need to know if you can use SOCOM mounts on it? I did get one Legacy series flash hider (FH556-212A ) with the can but I can't seem to find any extras online.

I will post pictures when the Form 3 in done. I am about 15 days into that. Why would I post a question asking about mounts if I never bought the suppressor?

Legacy suppressor a will not fit on Socom adapters. The index pin inside the can stops it from fully seating.

Many but not all of the legacy mounts have been discontinued.  I've got two so I feel your pain - keep checking the EE, gunbroker - the dealer I purchased mine from (International Police Supply) has some of them also.

I picked one up a few years ago - it's tiny.  4 inches long, and only adds 2.5 inches to the lenght of the rifle.

Not that quiet, as you could guess with such as small can volume, but a whole lot better than without.

I usually use mine on my MSAR to keep the overall length under 30 inches.

Very few were ever sold to the civilian market.  I remember the SF guy on the board was surprised when I said I bought one.
