Hello all,
Looks like I picked the wrong time to buy two more suppressors with e-file going down, oh well.  I just purchased two of the new surefire 22 ryders yesterday and now waiting for them to be transferred to my local dealer so I can pay Uncle Sam my $400 in extortion money and the joyous wait of six months to a year.  Just to let everyone know, the price out the door with a veteran's discount was $382.  I won't mention the place because I don't know the rules about promoting shops on here but since you can see that I am in central Oh that narrows them down quite a bit.  These will my second and third suppressor so far.  The first is still in jail, a Specwar 762., bought on Christmas eve.  Can't wait to try it out on the 300 blk I built for my wife.  This next part should get everyone going.  If so for some reason the suppressors get removed from the NFA will the people that have stamps get their money back? Well I hope everyone if finally enjoying the spring weather.  Have a nice weekend.

Thanks,
Rob

..... because you either over pay into it or qualify for some type of subsidy.  Not exactly what he was saying.

This thread makes me giggle

OP, why a Ryder vs a sparrow?
What do NFA transfers cost in your AO?

Definite no to NFA  refunds if the laws ever change .
As to the new Surefire 22 can,  the design looked promising,  but Surefire missed the mark by using aluminum for the tube and baffle stack instead of stainless steel or another metal such as inconel.
In my opinion,  there are better 22 cans out there for your money such as the Spectre II  or the Sparrow.
