I just bought some surplus 308 rounds from my local gun shop, the head stamp is RG 93 with the nato stamp.  I'm guessing they are Radway Ordnance, anyone know?
The real question is how well this brass is, due to the shortage of 308 brass I'm backed into a corner when it comes to finding brass to reload short of picking up range brass.
Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Yes, that is the famous Radway Green.  Good stuff in my experience.

Most of that stuff (I have a bit of it) is Berdan primed which means reloading is going to be a problem.

That was exactly what I didn't want to hear!
I'll yank the bullet of a round and take a peek, I won't get to shoot till this weekend.
Man thats gonna suck if they are Berdan primed, not a chance of doing any reloading there.

Ok I yanked a round, they are Berdan primed
Anyone got an idea what kind of accuracy I can expect from them, groups or just patterns?
Again thanks!

Well, from a M1A, you'll get respectable groups at 100 yds. I was going to post a link to someone on www.m14tfl.com, but their server seems to be down.

Years ago, the Palma team used to HAVE to shoot that in matches.  It will shoot groups, and good ones, in tighter (.306-.307) barrels with 1:12 or 1:13+ twists.  What will it do in yours?  Depends on the tube you push it thru.

BTW, sent you a PM about brass.
