Has anyone purchased a real swiss lower for their sig rifles? I just got a Sig 551a1 and now (of course) am looking at the swiss lower (nevermind the cost...i must have). I assume they bolt on like an AR lower.  Just curious if anyone has one and how they like it or not.
Thanks!

It's BEAUTIFUL lol! May I ask where you got it, please? And did it come fully assembled or did you have to pick up parts for it?

I got from Colorado gun sales and it was complete with internals. I had to also buy the stock, grip and take down pins. The stock, pistol grip and fore-arm came as a set.

Thank you! Last question, was it difficult to assemble it together? The pins, the stock, etc?

The stock is the hardest, and that is pretty easy. If you can operate a pin punch and a hammer you have it made. The take down pins just push in by a little thumb pressure.

i always love seeing pic's of your gun wall D u B

the swiss lowers are nice.  i was lucky and picked one up as part of a complete 556 that someone had already swissified and then traded it in.

That is a fine looking gun with the Swiss lower.

I hope SIG is taking notice and just starts producing the rifle the right way with the stamped lower.

I could be confusing two different bits of information, but didn't the Swiss come out with an aluminum lower of their own recently?  I wonder if, moving forward, new stamped lowers will continue to be available.
