I was a little tired last night and thought I gotta case of FMJ .45acp. Instead its TMJ.
I checked online it stand for Total Metal Jacket Whats the difference between FMJ and TMJ? They look the same to me |
| TMJ aka plated has the lead jacket completely surround the lead inside. where as FMJ, if u look at the bottom, you can see the lead as the copper doesnt seal the bottom. For loading, u should load TMJ at lead cast loads. Lots of times you see companies and business reloaders using TMJ b/c of OSHA regulations. |
