I was a little tired last night and thought I gotta case of FMJ .45acp. Instead its TMJ.

I checked online it stand for Total Metal Jacket

Whats the difference between FMJ and TMJ? They look the same to me

TMJ aka plated has the lead jacket completely surround the lead inside. where as FMJ, if u look at the bottom, you can see the lead as the copper doesnt seal the bottom. For loading, u should load TMJ at lead cast loads. Lots of times you see companies and business reloaders using TMJ b/c of OSHA regulations.

OK is there any difference when I shoot it? Accuracy? Reliablity?

No difference. Just as accurate and reliable feeding. TMJ is usually a tiny bit more expensive.

Speer TMJ's are not plated, but completely surround the lead.
