Ok, My Romy TTC, on my first outing a few months ago run flawlessly, about 80rnds of romy surplus, no problems, except for it was piercing the primers, on every round.   So I got home, removed the pin, and stoned it down slightly...... Well, I think maybe too much.  I took it out yesterday, to try out some new wolf gold hollow points, which are great BTW.  I loaded a mag of romy surplus in, and I had the dreaded click, so I cocked the hammer, and it fired, and a few more fired first off, but the majority were clicks.  I loaded up the wolf, which fired every time, and I had some old S&B and it also went bang.  I only had the problem with the romy surp, not anything else......

So I'm thinking my FP is just a shade too short, and not hitting deep enough into the hard romy primers, compared to the softer primers of the Wolf and S&B.  I don't think it is the hammer spring, as the pistol run fine the first time out, with the pin too long......

What say you guys???  Anyone have a spare TTC FP laying around, or have a link for some for sale????

Well, The ones that went click, I re-cocked and shot again.  All went off.  I looked at the cases at the range, and the imprints were lighter in the Romy surp than the others....... Oh, and the brass is still at the range, I can never find half the damn things.....

Sounds like the firing pin is too short.

That was my original thought, since it never did this till I shortened the pin to keep it from piercing the primers.  But The funny thing is, it sets off the S&B, and Wolf just fine.....

Anyone know where I can get a FP????

I ended up buying a new FP and spring off of Gunbroker.  I hope it fixs it, if not looks like a new hammer spring..
