I was able to pick up one of the 10/22's at Bass Pro Shops on the massive discount and I'd really like to make it into a tactical (and perhaps evil have
1) Butler Creek Folder
2) Tapco system with collapsible
3) Krinker Plinker

Obviously, the Krinker Plinker is more expensive than the other two, but also fits the nature of what I want.  Does anyone have advice for me as to which system might be the best way to go?  Or if there are other options I'm leaving out?

Thanks in advance!

I've had a BC folder on one of my 10/22s for years, and it has served very well.

No experience with the Tapco.

I bought a Krinker Plinker kit a while back on coolness factor alone and even picked up a used "donor" rifle for it cheap, but I haven't taken the time to assemble it yet.  I've read good things about them, though...

I would look for some ideas of what you have in mind...  All of your choices are fine, personally I would like the T-6 from Tapco, but that's up to you.  RB Precisions will be back into product with there Evolution stock soon, or so the rumor goes.  Try the RFC folks and see what they have to offer, I know they have a tactical thread and various other threads that maybe helpful....

I had a folder before I got a RB precision. There is no comparison. The Krinker Plinker looks good though.

RB Precision chassis
MagPul 93 stock
Tacical Solutions threaded barrel
Waiting on a OD MIAD and Gemtech Outback II

I have a tapco for my 10/22.  It "looks" kind of cheap.  But its solid, does its job nicely.  I bought it to make my 10/22 carbine kind of into a baby AR-15.

$139 plus tax.  I know they've been had in the past for less than that, but I've rarely seen even used ones that low lately.  If I have seen one that low, it wasn't locally, so I'd have to add another $20 or so for the FFL fee.  With ammo prices up I was especially happy to pick it up on the cheap.
