Sent my paperwork off yesterday for my Silencerco Sparrow. Got a long wait
ahead of me for sure. Now if my YHM Phantom would come in at my dealer, I could get it sent it as well. Oh well, |

Oh well, You had a dealer order one straight from YHM? I did that when I bought a pair of them (556 and 762 QD models) and it took a few months for them just to get to my dealer. That wait killed me cause we hadn't even filled out the paperwork yet... Maybe (hopefully) their supply is back to a good level and it won't take long to get 'em to you. The good news is that I love both of them and would recommend them as a great "budget" can for everyone but the most hardcore user. Enjoy! cheers, Benji |

I called 1 month after sending mine in, and the nice lady pretty much laughed at me. She said to call back in another month and they MIGHT be able to tell me something. Called 1 month later, and they were able to tell me when it had gone pending, and who my examiner was. They also then told me that they try to get them approved within 4 months of it going PENDING. |

Wait a month before calling to see if it's pending. Once it's pending they can tell you who your examiner is. I try hard not to call until 2 months in (from check cashing) and then maybe once a week or so to check up on it. |
