I'm looking for a good themal just for observation? I have a PVS-14 and marker for everything else.

This one is in my price range but I might go a little higher if this is not a good choice.

That's a great one for the money. But, don't get the 9Hz model. Make sure it is the 30Hz model. The price is the same on both.

HD19A = 30hz $2000

LD19A = 9hz $2000

The only reason someone might want the LD19a is to take out of the country for hunting in Africa, etc. (9hz is not ITAR restricted)

Wait till the ATN Thor HD scopes hit the market and you see some reviews. 1.25-5x 384x288 30hz with a MSRP of $1999. Street price should be lower.
