Method 1:

1. Order PS90 SBR from CMMG.  Do form 3 to your dealer.  Do form 4 from dealer to you.

Method 2:

1. Do form 1.
2. Engrave receiver.
3. Hacksaw barrel shroud off.
4. Install 10.3" P90 barrel.

Don't think anymore.  Keep the PS90 the way it is (it is short enough already) and get a five seven instead.

It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.

If it doesn't happen before, my wife has already sworn to get me my tax stamp for christmas.

Because- and I'm sorry, 1Bigdog- THIS is too long...

I understand.

Question..

Does anyone know how much accuracy will be lost by shortening the barrel?

With the 10.3" CMMG barrel the accuracy on mine is better than the stock barrel.

Method 1:

$2000 PS90 SBR
$200 tax stamp

Method 2:

However much you paid for your PS90
$200 tax stamp
~$40-70 engraving work
$250 barrel
$65 flash hider
Hacksaw, wrenches, and elbow grease

I like mine, but if I could do it over again I don't know if I would.  It is a pretty sick looking little rifle, but very expensive to feed.  It has become a safe queen as of late.  As for accuracy, the 10.3" CMMG 1/9 barrel is just as good as the factory barrel IMO.  I can put all rounds in a little 2x2 circle at about 75 ft with the crappy ring site.  It is definitely unique, but if your budget is limited like mine, I'd say go with a SBR AR-15 instead.  Just my 2 cents...
Pic of course..

If you buy 5.7 in bulk you can get it cheaper than good 5.56 ammo.  Tanners sells 2k round cases for $700 + shipping.
