I know this is a trivial thing but I'm curious.  In many pics of mounted suppressors the logo seems perfectly placed on the right side when tightened down.  With my Spectre II it always seats with the logo on the bottom, other side, etc.  I've tried it on four different hosts BTW.  Doesn't really bother me but just wanted to know if there is some secret that I'm missing.  Thanks for putting up with a silly question.

I noticed the same thing on my Spectre II.  With the spacer and my 10/22 it ends up on the top.  Sounds great though.

I don't know which particular cans you might be talking about, but with my Sure Fire the mount is shimmed. The mount also has a "tab" on it that indexes the can to the same place each time it is mounted. That also helps point of impact changes.......or lack of POI.

Talking about a direct-thread 22 LR can.  Short of using peel washers or something I think I'm stuck with it as is.  Love it otherwise.

This isn't even something to worry about or try to mess with.  The barrels aren't threaded to make supressor logos and markings line up a certain way.

If you're looking at a Sparrow, it's because the tube can be rotated independent of the threaded core...

If you really wanted it to line up on a certain side you could send the suppressor and the host to someone that does barrel threading and have them time the threads by setting the shoulder of the barrel back so that the writing is where you want it.

Waste of money in my opinion, but to each his own.

OK thanks all who answered.  Was just a curious question.

Several of my cans, the outer tube can be rotated on the piston, so you could make logos, etc line up... I personally dont care. I know what model the can is and nobody really needs to be concerned about my serial #s.
