| What do most of yall like in terms of suppressor attaching to you host - thread on or QD attachment & why? Any pros/cons other than a hair lighter & shorter w/ the thread on? |

QD is the bee's knees with all the improvements that have been made in the last few years.
The only reason I would (and did) get a threadmount can was to save weight on my 10.5" AR. Going with a Spartan 3 saved me about 4 ounces versus a QD can, and it was cheap. I had to use threadlocker to keep it from loosening, so I would only recommend threadmount for a can that's dedicated to one rifle, and only if that rifle is short enough that you won't have to take the can on and off for transport or storage. |
