Need help tracking down a threaded barrel for a 92F, getting a re-enlistment bonus in about a month and want to start pricing some "toys" if you know what I mean.   No sure what threads I should use or if i should pick out a suppressor first and then find the barrel.  Kinda new to the whole NFA game so any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Find the suppressor first. You should be able to just have your factory barrel threaded. If you do want to get another barrel, it should be threaded 1/2 x28.   FAC barrels, if you can find one, will most likely need their shoulder trued up.

Have YOUR factory barrel threaded.  Don't buy another.  I found out the hard way that a threaded barrel is not always threaded the way you will want it.

I bought a used 92fs off of the EE with a threaded barrel.  The barrel was threaded too far- back behind the face of the slide.  I had to send it to my suppressor manufacturer- Doug at SRT, to have a new collar put on, profiled down and rethreaded for his suppressor...
