Here is a review of the Osprey 9 and 45, both on XDs with threaded barrels from Springfield. The Osprey 45 is also shown on a Nighthawk GRP.

It should give you a good idea of what it will look like. The barrels performed flawlessly and shot well.

i recollect they recommend barsto.

You can call their custom shop and order a threaded barrel. Pretty easy. They know what to do.
