Have had several in hand, 9mm, .40, .45.
They shoot great, I prefer the Glock magazine version. I put integral suppressors on them, would not bother if I did not trust the action. It's true they are on perpetual back-order from Thureon, so you have to find a dealer who has one in stock or order and wait. There are a couple with integral suppressor on Gunbroker right now, NOT my auction, not sure mods would like it if I posted the number. Before selecting the Thureon as my suppressor host I looked at all the currently available pistol caliber carbines. Thureon is hands down the best and a good price. MGI Military also works well, I built one to test it, but price is not so great. JRC has issues. Olympic works but is awkward, due to the over-complicated chamber and bolt, odd ejector, and they are not interested in working with second party SOT's. Also looked at conversions of .223 AR's, made one work, but not impressed, more difficult to do, and expensive in the end. Just my .02ยข as an SOT who uses these as a production item platform. |
