While shooting my model 94 Winchester today I noticed that one of the cartridge guide screws was loose.
Do they make a tool to tighten them? Would  have to be something with a 45 degree angle.

I think you have to gut all the goodies from the receiver to tighten those screws...

I have never seen a tool for this but if you take it apart you should be able to tighten it up.

Winchester Model 1892 and 1894 are not much fun to put back together after one has taken them apart, unless you have a bit of mechanical ability. (which I don't)

There are lots of diagrams available on line to help you visualize how everything fits together.

Get a set of screwdriver bits from either Brownell's or Midway (I forget which) specifically for those rifles (1892 and 1894), and don't use them on anything else.

Let us know how you make out.

Thanks Guys,
I will check Midway amd Brownells for the tool.

If I can get it tight, do you think it would hurt to use Lock tight on it?

I use two allen wrenches ground to length and with the screwdriver heads ground at 90 degrees to each other. One has to be unscrewed from inside and the other screw will be accessed through the hole opposite it. I'd just tighten it up and skip the locktite. Also make a small investment in the Arnold book from 1957. If I could figure it out, I'd post a few images from my online image storage account. The instructions I found on here aren't very luddite friendly.

Good luck.
