I want to put a better trigger in my AR50..  I would like to have a lighter and shorter pull but I do not want to have to modify anything.. In other words a direct replacement..
What make and model are you guys using??
Thanks

I can't give any imput on replacement triggers, but the AR-50 trigger is the same as a Remington 700. Had a trigger job done on mine and it is nice and cleanly breaks at 3.5 lbs. Had it done about 5 years ago and ran about $40.

I have a standard Shilen in mine, have it adjusted to about 2 pounds. It was a drop in replacemant, didn't have to modify anything.

Have seen a Jewel trigger in a AR-50, I think you have to do a little grinding with a dremel for good fit.

Do you happen to have an exact part number? Also is it hard to adjust?
Thanks

It's not hard to adjust, you can go over to sniper central or one of those sites and get instructions. There should be a set of instructions with the trigger group, if you don't think you can do it a gunsmith can.

Don't have an exact part number as most places will probably have their own codes for it, it should be just the standard pull Rem. 700 type. You can search around Bruno's Shooter's Supply has it for $74 bucks.

The trigger is the same as a Rem 700.  I installed a Timney in my wifes AR50.
