So I have my Colt M-16A1 and has the old SSF parts in it with the KNS Gen 2 pin kit installed. I have a Geissele SSF kit that I would like to install in my 16 but have heard that you can't use both the Geissele kit with a KNS kit.

Thoughts on what might be the best option.

Thanks

Do I  not worry about my eggs becoming egged out?

No. If you don't shoot 9mm, that can't happen. Even if you do use a 9mm upper, it probably won't happen if it's setup correctly.

Ramped 9mm bolts are great.

I've had my Colt M16A1 for about 15 years and have never needed the KNS pins. I purchased and installed the Geissele SSF trigger group a couple of years ago and still don't need the KNS pins.
