I have a need for the above mentioned item.  I attended a shooting school last week and plate carrier/chest harness mounted pistol mags were not optimal (for me anyway).  I've ran belt mounted pistol mags for years, but due to some recent gear upgrades the belt mounted mags tend to get covered.  I'd prefer the pouches to be covered and have some type of retention device, similar to the Tactical Tailor pouches that I currently use. have you seen or given the HSGI RAMP any thought?

as for leg panels, the HSGI one is pretty minimal for only 3 pistol mags, not sure what other manufacturers have smaller footprint panels

When belt mounted, I tend to prefer my reloads front-left. Does the RAMP work if going prone?  I have considered the HSGI panel, and may actually go that route. Thanks for your response.
