Guys i am building a SBR AK, and already have a trust, on the back of the form 1, where it talks about maker's certifications- do I have to fill that out or not? since its a trust and not an indivdual
i dont remember filling that out when I filed for my suppressor...thanks |

If you're using a paper form, read the instructions...specifically the line directly under Maker's Certification.

A maker who is an individual must complete this Section.
The maker for your firearm is the trust, which is the name in 3b. Your trust is not an individual. The entire page 2 is blank for a Form 1 when the applicant is a trust/corp. Almost the same rules for a Form 4, except that you have to sign 14 if the item is an SBR/SBS/MG/DD. |
