1. Will any standard AR grip fit right on? I'de like to run a hogue.

2. Can I buy a longer handguard? I'de like one that would cover about half my trident9.

I run a hogue deluxe, no problems.

Unless you can wait for the Lancer CF HGs that they're releasing, I don't know of an alternative.
