[ARCHIVED THREAD] - UMP Vs MP5

Well I'm thinking about getting another rifle. Something different. My major thoughts are either DR200, UMP, MP5 or Uzi. Each has its ups and downs.

DR200 would be my first .223 rifle.
A Vector Uzi (Carbine) while not pretty like a SMG would be cheap to feed and buy.

Ump and MP5 are both long time favorites however they are pricy (for me). Now the UMP avalible to us Civies is the USC right? 9mm with the thumb-whole? As for MP5, I would be more likely to get a HK-53 from Vector, not a fan of Hesse or SW.

USC is in .45 only with a single stack 10 round magazine. The DR200 is cool, but parts are hard to find.

MP5 = HK94 (from HK)

Otherwise, yeah, I'd go with Vector or even Bobcat for a MP5 clone.

USC, very awsome weapons with ALOT of potential.

There are several people offering UMP clone modifications. The latest one's actually use the UMP lower and magazines. PM for more info.
