Here are the countable parts for an FAL type rifle:

1. receiver
2. barrel
3. muzzle device
4. gas piston
5. charging handle assembly
6. bolt
7. bolt carrier
8. lower trigger housing
9. hammer
10. sear
11. trigger
12. buttstock
13. pistol grip
14. handguard set
15. magazine body
16. magazine floorplate
17. magazine follower.

The number of US parts is not really what you need to focus on. The law is restrictive on the maximum number of IMPORTED parts in the assembled weapon.

Insure you have NO MORE than TEN IMPORTED parts from the list above.  

You can diminish the number of imported parts by EITHER removing/eliminating them completely from the build, or by replacing them with US parts,

On my R1A1 (STG58 on an Imbel receiver), H/T/S, sucky 2-piece gas piston, buttstock and pistol grip.  Didn't have a muzzle device.

You would count the Century receiver if it's built on one.

Alex, I'm in Dade County also.  Is there something I can help you with?  I've built over a dozen already and have all the tools.

The Inch trigger parts seem to be the hard parts to find now.
