I was looking at used guns tonight at the local auction hall and I saw a scope with a yellow cursive B on it.  I've searched the internet but can't find what kind of scope it is.  Any suggestions?

optics companies come and go through the years. Most actually do not own a manufacturing factory, they contract all there work out to various manufacturers and have there name embellished on the scope.

I think it could be an older Burris.  Mine says the whole name in yellow cursive but it seems a friend had one from the late 80s or early 90s that just had the yeller B.

I didn't get pics while I was there but if I go back I'll get some.  I tried to find an older Burris emblem but couldn't.  It was a high power scope and the previous owner has some serious money into some other setups that are there so I'm assuming it's not a cheap knock off or anything.

The scope in the upper right background of this link has the emblem I saw.  What scope is it?  http://www.berettagallery.com/index.aspx?m=53&did=394

Never mind...I found my answer.  I've only ever seen a Burris with that diamond emblem, but I just saw their signature select series and it has a different emblem on.
