Browsing the forums, I've seen some VERY cool guns. What I haven't seen is a thumb-tacked pictures thread for AR’s with custom finishes. I want to try a custom finish on my K.I.S.S. AR15. Whatcha got? I want to see the various techniques and creative touches out there.

Please post a picture of your custom finish and detail how you accomplished it (whether by your own artistic and technical ability or through a service).

Thanks!

Here is my 6.8SPC, I painted the barrel, and upper and lower receivers with Duracoat's Aug Green. It was surprisingly easy and quick. The prep time was by far the most time consuming part of the process, as the paint was dry to the touch in 20 mins.

Below is an example of a rifle done in Duracoat. I sent the rifle off to R.I.P. Custom Arms for the Magpul dark earth finish.
