As the title says, I have an old direct thread form 1 can that I would use more if it had mounting options. The primary blast baffle is an odd male to male piece with male 1.180x24 (Liberty) threads on one side and 1.375-24 (Hub) male threads on the other. I need a 1.375-24 (Hub) female to female adapter to go from the wierd ass blast baffle to one of the Griffin or YHM mounts I have. I haven't found an online shop that sells something like that, nor do I know who to ask to make a one off piece. Ecco has always been my go to for adapters but they state no custom stuff on their contact page. I also dont trust my own lathe to be up to the task of making it to the degree of accuracy needed. Any help is appreciated! |

The weird primary is steel, so it does an ok job of protecting them. This is a form 1 can, it is not the pinnacle of light weight or sound reduction efficiency. If I can find or have made an adapter that makes financial sense I will, if not it will just stay direct thread. The below pic is a poor photoshop of what I need

The weird primary is steel, so it does an ok job of protecting them. “ Since you have a lathe perhaps you could turn a stepped steel washer that fits into the Ecco adapter if it would sandwich in place. Or a simple conical washer. 303 stainless turns relatively nicely and is fairly cheap. You might even find an 18-8 / 304 flat stainless washer you could adapt, but chucking thin pieces can involve fabricating a mandrel and chatter is still likely. ETA: I presume this is threaded on both ends. Longer than you want at 2.5”.
