| Is this a bad idea? I have a direct thread titanium can that stays on my noveske almost all the time. Obviously it loosens up when i shoot it, and is too hot to tighten by hand after a few rounds. Are there any reasons not to use some Rocksett on it? |

Plus it's thicker. Or drill a hole through can & end cap, thread cap and use button head screws to secure. |

I’d also like hear some feedback regarding this topic.
I plan on attaching my direct-thread suppressor with a drop of Rocksett and a strap wrench. It probably wouldn’t hurt to store the rifle muzzle down with the BCG back so moisture doesn’t accumulate. I’ve considered Teflon tape, but I’m worried about it melting with supersonics. |

It doesn't really melt, more like fall apart when you remove the can. Super or sub's makes no difference, I'm shooting 122gr wolf through my SBR'd AK's I'm thinking of making the last thread on the sdta brake an interference fit , I have an extra brake and can chase the threads on the end cap if needed. |
| I've got Rocksett with my direct thread Gemtech Trek. Hasn't come loose in nearly 4k rounds (1k, removed, then almost 3k). I made a straight line with it from the crown to the shoulder. Took it off once to switch to a Syrac gas block. Had to use 2 hands but it came off without much fuss. |

I'll decide once I have the can in hand, but most likely if I can tap the can for a set screw, that's the route I'm going. |
