Completed this the other day. 1/4" thick 1075. 9 1/4" tall, 4 1/2" from tip to edge, 2" edge. Hardened on the spike edge and on the pommel. Scale and stone washed finish. Weight is at the head.

The edge is more of a knife geometry than an axe geometry, it has a semi convexed edge at around 22 degrees per side. It will cut and slice great. This is made primarily for a defense tool but it could still do the job of a more traditional tomahawk but I would say the edge is still a little more fragile than your traditional hawk or axe.

I did some testing and it cut great. It cut through a 2 x 4 good, and it cut through some seasoned wood pretty good and no excessive wear on the edge with either. It did lose some if its hair shaving abilities but still had a good working edge. The spike did good also. Punched through wood well and thin steel. The only time the edge saw damage was when I inadvertently hit some concrete. There were some small chips and roles (as to be expected) but i continued cutting through the wood after that and there was not much effect on performance.

Here it is, thanks for looking.

Fun! Little wee hawks are interesting and fun to use instead of a knife sometimes.

Yeah. This one is not the door opening, padlock cutting, rescue tool that most of the larger ones are touted to be but it would be a good personal defense weapon should you need it.
